As a sales coach and business owner I've been able to find a balance and comfort in scripture thru the word of God. I've always been able to find all the answers I've looked for ever since I understood my walk with Christ, in the end understanding how my faith is a whole in my existence.

Once I realized that breaking bricks was not only about breaking bricks for the sake of it...I became successful in sales. I recently watched my son break 4 bricks, I drifted back in my mind to the day I broke 1 brick. I was scared. It was 5 years ago, I tried to break a brick and broke my hand instead. The brick was hard, and my heart beat fast.

What is it about failure that frightens us so? What power does it have to stop us in our tracks? Re-framing failure as a stepping stone to success is a good start, but what other steps can we take to conquer the fear of failure?

I have a confession to make. I woke up one morning and discovered that my clothes were snug. More than I was comfortable with. I had been doing a lot of traveling, and meeting a lot of people. A sports injury sidelined me from running, but my schedule was so packed that I quit exercising altogether. As I was growing my client base, I was also growing another base: my waist. I was in a constant state of anxiety, and racing from work to church to home. Yes, I was successful, but at what cost?
